temporary filling with long-term treatment;
restoration of the destroyed tooth structure under the crown;
lining when filling with composites and amalgam;
fissure sealing.

Composition and main properties:

Glass ionomer radiopaque material “Cemion” is a traditional glass ionomer chemical curing cement with chemical adhesion to dentin and enamel. Available as a powder-liquid kit. The powder is a crushed aluminofluorosilicate glass, the liquid is an aqueous solution of modified polyacrylic acid. The glass ionomer reaction begins immediately after mixing the powder and liquid, accompanied by the release of fluoride ions, which strengthens the dentin, has a bactericidal effect and prevents the development of secondary caries. Glass ionomer cement “Cemion” has high biological compatibility with tooth tissues, strength (150 MPa), resistance to acid erosion, provides reliable edge fit, X-ray contrast.
