Base wax Base wax Latevax 2.0 modeling in plates - main indications for use:

modeling of removable denture bases;
fabrication of bite templates with occlusal rollers;
fabrication of individual spoons and spoon bases.
Advantages of base wax:

Has good plasticity;
easy to form;
is well processed with tools, does not break and does not delaminate;
is completely removed from plaster molds with boiling water without residues;

Instructions for use:

1. A plate of wax is softened by heating it evenly over a burner flame or in warm (45-50)°C water; melting and solidification temperature of wax is (55±3)°C; wax is modeled with any dental tools;
2. To make a wax model of the base of removable dental prosthesis, the wax plate is cut with a spatula approximately according to the shape of the model. Soften the wax by heating it evenly over a burner flame or in water heated to (45-50)°C. Lay it on the plaster model and form the base of the future denture by pressing the wax to the model with the fingers of the hands, avoiding excessive force in order not to thin the wax plate in places.
3. Bite rolls are made from a heated wax plate rolled up in several layers. The height of the roll is 1-1.5 cm and the thickness is about 1 cm.
4. The roll is bonded to the base with melted wax using an electric spatula or a heated instrument.
